Canadian outlet - issue with a return
I bought a phone in Walmart.ca which was sold by Canadian outlet. I returned the item to Canadian outlet already. But they are refusing that they received the returned item by Canada post with tracking no. It seems Canadian outlet is a scamming/cheating me. How I can take action against them?

u have tracking with proof it was delivered?
how did u pay for it if it was paypal just log in to your paypal account and open a dispute.
if it was credit card call the number on the back of your credit card and when u get though to c/s just tell them u want to dispute a charge give them the date and amount they will walk u though the rest of the process.

Yea I have the tracking no. And I already open a case with Canada post as per the Canadian outlet advise. But I’m pretty sure that shop is playing around.
I paid by credit card and order was placed in November 29th. Do you think I can still dispute the payment?

should be fine u normally have upto 180 days to dispute.
just call the number on the back of the card and ask them to dispute the charge say u returned it u have tracking showing it was returned and there refusing to issue the refund.

Does the tracking say the package was delivered to them? If not, then call CP to open an investigation. If yes, then there is no need to contact CP, tell Canadian Outlet that they did receive it and to issue a refund right away, if they refuse do a charge back. And stop buying from any marketplace sellers.

Yes it’s already delivered. And it was insured. But it covers only $100. I opened a case with Canada post waiting for the report. Do you think I can make an entry with police against them?
I’ll try to dispute the charge with the bank

Hi I have no words to thank you. I called to the bank. They said me to wait 15 days after the delivery to see if they refund. If not the bank can proceed it seems.
You’re a hero. Thanks so much for the information @aaron158
You have no idea the value of the help you jut did I’ll keep you posted once I receive the refund. Merry Christmas! Thank you so much

Hi OP, just wondering if you ended up getting the chargeback successfully or Canadian Outlet gave you a refund?
Which phone did you buy? I am considering if I should be a Pixel 6A from them

Sorry Missed to answer for your second part. I don’t recommend to buy from 3rd party sellers from Walmart as nobody need any extra hassle like I had for 1 month.
If it’s below $150 I recommend to go for it. Because you can exchange or refund items below that amount at the store. Hope this helps.

They are scammers. Bought a OnePlus 12R phone today from there store and they gave me the Indian version which is cheaper than the Canadian version. When buying they didn't mention that it's the Indian version, not the Canadian one. It came with an Indian outlet and not the Canadian one when you order from the OnePlus website. Also I checked the OnePlus website. The Canadian version has more bands than the Indian one so signal can fluctuate. Also they now refusing to return the item

Hi, I’m sorry to hear that.If you just bought it you can try with the bank to dispute it if it is mentioned in the agreement.
I bought online so it was not a problem to me.
Don't buy electronics from these small shops if possible.
