“I was scared. Natakot ako kasi may show ako na napakaganda. Mahirap rin ‘yung journey kasi when that show started I was the most disliked samin. Ginamit ko ‘yon as fuel and umokay. I became one of the most favorites. Then nagbuntis ako so parang sabi ko, ‘Sayang naman ‘yung pinaghirapan ko.’ It is a frustration […] Paangat na, ang dami na dapat papasok na endorsement,” she said.
The actress also revealed that she wasn’t fully “onboard” about getting married as well, but did it to make their loved ones happy considering the pregnancy at hand.
“I wasn’t ready to get married ‘cause I didn’t really believe in marriage. But to make everyone else happy, we got married. Alam ko naman kasi very deep yung understanding ko na ibang commitment na talaga yung marriage. You really have to go through everything together, even the worst… [in] sickness and in health, di ba? When I was in the marriage, I didn’t feel that part,” she admitted.
Padilla explained that it was during the pandemic when she and Abrenica realized that they made a “mistake,” which has been the lesson they are trying to learn from.

“But it can be a mistake. Puwede naman nating i-accept yun, as a lesson learned. No offense meant. We all make mistakes. I’ve also forgiven myself… Nakapag-move on na rin naman siya [Aljur],” added the actress.

The “Encantadia” star then shared that if she ever finds herself entering a relationship again, she would be with someone who can provide for her and her kids.
“I didn’t really think about it when I was falling in love. But now, gising na ako sa katotohanan. May anak na ako. I’m a single mom. Nakakapagod siya. I don’t wanna be tired forever. The time that I spend at work is the time away from my kids. That’s the real struggle. “Kaya naiisip ko na rin, I have to find a provider that can give me that. Yung masasabi na, ‘O, sige, magpahinga ka na,’” she stated.
